Fall 2019/Spring 2020

“Stage Left: The Podcast” was a bi-monthly podcast featuring lively and engaging conversations with New York’s younger and underrepresented theatre critics and journalists about the latest and most noteworthy productions on Broadway and beyond. Anchored by Rob Russo—founder and writer of Stage Left (2017-2021) and co-host and co-producer of The Fabulous Invalid—each episode featured an in-depth roundtable discussion with a rotating roster of guest panelists with the mission of broadening the cultural discussion to elevate and include diverse perspectives. While planned for a full season, the COVID-19 pandemic and shutdown of live performance in New York put a premature end to the series. Panelists included David Gordon, Hayley Levitt, Christian Lewis, Casey Mink, Louis Peitzman, Ayanna Prescod, and Jose Solís.
